Nurture to Grow Community

A Therapeutically Informed Community for Safety, Self-Discovery, and Growth

Release the anxiety that paralyses your body and keeps you stuck in life.

Teach your body to feel safe again and learn to hold new, positive emotions so you can navigate your life with more ease.

Nurture to Grow is a community for people who have experienced childhood trauma and, in adult life, often struggle with overwhelming anxiety and a lack of a sense of Self.

This space gives you the safety to help your body feel safe again through scientific and body-based techniques designed to regulate your nervous system, support your healing, and help you rediscover your true potential and sense of Self (know Thyself).

You will start to discover what you want, who you are, and what you like. This process will help you finally release the need to please others and teach you how it feels to love and trust yourself.

1. Teach Your Body to Feel Safe Again

Do you know those moments when anxiety creeps in, and you feel it all through your body? No matter what you do, it’s overwhelming, and you can’t stop it. You try to understand why you feel this way, but nothing comes to mind — and that’s even more disturbing. You’d like to do something about it, but what?

Other times, your mind is so noisy it feels impossible to make it stop. You try to distract yourself, talk to someone, or figure out the problem — but your thoughts just spiral.

In those moments, isn’t all you want for it to stop — to get a break, not to feel that way anymore? Anything, just to feel good again?

What if there is a way to calm your nervous system (your body) and relax your mind?

To have a space where you can breathe, gather yourself, and begin to feel safe again?

Now imagine having that kind of support every day, every week, every month — until, eventually, you create a lifestyle that supports your calm and well-being. A life where you can ground yourself easily, because now you know how.

2. Discover Who You Are at Your Core — and Why It’s Been Hard to Know Yourself Until Now

There’s a reason I chose to work with people who have experienced childhood trauma.

I was one of them.

From rejection at school to emotional abandonment within my family, from lack of support to poverty — I know how it feels to grow up without a nourishing environment or a present caregiver. When that happens, it’s likely you reach adulthood not knowing who you truly are, what your values are, or what your strengths might be. You may rely on others to tell you. You might feel driven to please people so they won’t leave. In other words, your sense of self becomes dependent on others’ opinions.

The cost of that is high: you can’t say no to people who take advantage of you, you burn out because you don’t feel important enough to care for yourself, and you lose touch with your own needs. I know it’s painful — I’ve been there.

Now, imagine learning to internalise a sense of Self — to nourish yourself in healthy ways, to have the inner strength to stop sacrificing your well-being for others, and to make choices guided by your gut, your inner wisdom.

You have the power of choice — and you can learn to use it.

3. Create a New State of Being

(Digesting and releasing the old emotions — embodying a new reality in your body’s cells)

Every experience we have leaves a trace — a memory that is stored in our body, in every cell.

Have you ever wondered why you can’t just “be happy”? Why joy or excitement feel distant? Or why you seem to feel only the emotions you’re trying to escape from? It’s because those old emotional memories are still held deep within you.

It’s not that you don’t want to feel happiness, peace, or joy — it’s that your body may have forgotten what they feel like, because it’s so used to what’s familiar: the anxious, tense, or fearful state.

Now imagine teaching your body how to feel something new. Imagine your friends asking, “You seem happy — what’s going on?” and you simply answering, “I just feel good in myself.”

Imagine waking up in the morning feeling genuinely glad to be alive — not because life is perfect, but because it finally feels manageable. Because you have the tools and resources to meet challenges calmly and confidently.

How the Community Works

  • Monthly Meetings: Psychoeducation and Q&A
  • Weekly Gatherings: Practical exercises and body-based interventions
  • Daily Practices: Simple actions to help you embody the change you’re creating

All meetings take place live, online, on Zoom

There are no quick fixes here.

Without practice, transformation doesn’t happen.

This community is about showing up — for yourself — and building a lifestyle that supports your well-being.

What Nurture to Grow Is and Is Not

Nurture to Grow is a therapeutically informed community — guided by therapeutic knowledge and trauma-awareness, held with professional care, but not a therapy space.

This is not therapy — we don’t process trauma stories here. If that’s what you need, one-to-one or group therapy may be more appropriate (and I can support you with that separately).

This is not a quick fix — you’ll get as much as you put in.

This is not an emergency service — if you ever feel unwell or unsafe, please reach out to your GP or another professional.

This is not for people who are too busy to make time for themselves — healing requires presence and consistency.

This Community Is For You If

  • You’re tired of feeling anxious and stuck and are ready to take gentle action
  • You’re already in individual therapy but need more resources and support between sessions
  • You feel lonely on your healing journey and crave a supportive community
  • You want to experience new ways of being — grounded, calm, and confident
  • You want to connect with your inner wisdom and feel guided from within
  • You feel lost and want clarity about what to do or where to go next

In Short

Through Nurture to Grow, you will:

  • Learn to feel safe and calm in your body.
  • Reconnect with your authentic Self.
  • Teach your body to hold new emotions that support your growth.
  • Begin creating new memories and a new way of being — one built on peace, confidence, and authenticity.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Here, you’ll find support, understanding, and space to nurture yourself as you grow into the person you’re meant to be.
